If you live with a dog or a cat, you already know where the hair ends up. The couch. Your clothes. The passenger seat. Brushing helps, but plenty of pets bolt the moment a brush appears.
This glove works around that. You pet your animal the way you already do, and the soft silicone bristles lift the loose hair as your hand moves. To your pet it reads as being stroked, not groomed, so most of them stay put.
Why people keep one by the door
-
Catches the hair before it reaches your furniture. Dual-sided design, and it works on short, medium and long coats.
-
The hair peels off in one piece. No picking fur out of bristles afterwards.
-
Soft silicone bristles. Gentle enough for everyday use on dogs, cats and rabbits.
-
Doubles as a massage. Most pets lean into it instead of walking away.
-
Works at bath time too. Use it to work shampoo down to the skin.
How to use it
Slip it on, tighten the wrist cuff, and stroke in the direction the coat grows. Short passes work better than long ones. When the glove fills up, peel the hair off and carry on.
Made to survive a puppy
Breathable mesh backing with TPR bristles, abrasion-resistant and bite-proof. That last part matters more than it sounds the first time your dog decides the glove is the toy.
Flexible wrist cuff, fits most adult hands. Hand wash under warm water and air dry.
Before you buy
A glove is for loose hair, not knots. If your pet is badly matted, break the mats up with a slicker brush first, then finish with the glove.
